Privacy Statement

Privacy Statement

At Rancho Pancho, we handle your personal data with care. In this privacy statement, you can read about what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, why we do so, and what rights you have. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Data Protection Act (LOPDGDD).

Who is responsible for your data?

Rancho Pancho is part of LEDS DO IT Import S.L. (CIF B75251629), Lugar Quilin 498, 29120 Alhaurín el Grande (Málaga), Spain. If you have any questions about your privacy, please email [email protected] or call or send a text message to +34 608 784 614.

What information do we collect, and why?

When you fill out the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number (if provided), and your message. We use this information solely to answer your question and to arrange your stay or horseback riding tour. If you contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, we’ll use the information you provide for the same purpose.

If you’re staying at our RV park or in our apartment, Spanish law requires us to record certain guest information and provide it to the appropriate authorities, such as your name and the details on your ID. If you rent our car, we’ll ask for the information needed for the rental agreement, such as your driver’s license.

If you write a review on our website, we’ll save your name, your email address, and your review. Only your name and your review will be visible to other visitors.

On what legal basis do we process your data?

We process your data because it is necessary to answer your question or process a reservation, because we are required to do so by law, or because you have given your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

How long do we retain your data?

We do not retain your data any longer than necessary. We retain messages sent via the contact form for up to two years, unless they result in a reservation. We retain data that we are legally required to keep, such as guest registration and accounting records, for as long as required by law.

Who do we share your information with?

We never sell your data to others. We only share data when required by law—for example, during guest registration—or with third parties who help us operate the website. Our website is hosted by ProfesionalHosting in Spain and is secured and accelerated through Cloudflare. We have agreements in place with these parties regarding the protection of your data.

Cookies and Third-Party Services

Our website uses technical cookies that are necessary for the website to function properly, such as to remember your language preference and to secure the website. We also use Google services: Google Analytics to anonymously track how the website is used, YouTube to display videos (in privacy-friendly mode, without cookies until you play a video), and Google Reviews to display reviews. These services may place cookies and process data outside the European Union, in which case Google complies with the terms of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. If you click the button for WhatsApp, Facebook, or Instagram, Meta’s privacy policy applies. You can always delete or block cookies through your browser settings.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. You may also object to the use of your data, request that its use be restricted, or request that your data be transferred. To do so, please send an email to [email protected]; we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).

Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data from loss and misuse. Our website uses a secure connection (https), so the data you submit via the form is sent in encrypted form.

Changes

We may update this privacy statement if our practices or the law change. The most current version is always available on this page. This statement was last updated on October 14, 2026.
